The New Hampshire Trust Council proudly co-sponsored the Tri-State Trust Forum, in partnership with the New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine Bankers’ Associations. Held at Portwalk Place in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, this multi-day event brought together professionals from the banking, trust, and legal communities for networking and educational opportunities.
As part of its sponsorship, the Trust Council showcased its commitment to advancing industry knowledge by supporting member participation. Attorneys Patrick Collins and Brandon Vallie of the McLane Law Firm, and Brendan Mitchell, VP, General Counsel and Chief Fiduciary Officer of Market Street Trust Company, led two insightful panel discussions on trust modernization and significant case law developments. They were joined by Attorney Griffin Lechefske of Pierce Atwood and Attorney Livia DeMarchis of the Vermont Trust Company, who contributed perspectives from Maine and Vermont respectively. Â Ryan Hale, VP, Government Relations of the New Hampshire Bankers Association, enhanced the discussion with an overview of the legislative process.
